Snug to Sparkles: Festive Lookbook

Christmas is nearly here - YAY!  There's only a few more days until I fly home back to the UK, and although I'll certainly miss Canada, I am definitely looking forward to all of the (free) food. Anyway... reverting back to my second favourite topic of all time: clothes. Sometimes, I get a little frustrated with my blog and how others do so much better than me, or have better photos or better engagement, but I always try and remind myself that this is just a hobby and it is something that makes me who I am - I truly love it and whilst I'm no longer as good at posting regularly, I'm doing pretty alright. To remind me of this, I recently received an amazing opportunity in my email inbox and this post is the final product! Here, I present to you two festive looks: one perfect for the day time, the other far more glam - all in collaboration with Tobi*. I'm super proud of how this post came out so I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved creating it!

Tobi is an international brand and you can get it from the US, Canada or UK as well as a whole host of other countries across the globe. The delivery was predicted to be 9-10 days to Canada but it was actually a lot faster than that, which was presently surprising. I realise that some of the prices are a little more on the expensive side, but I tried to choose pieces that would be of an equivalent price in similar stores.
Despite the price point, I do actually think that the clothes are very good quality, although the jumper did catch and has pulled a little - I got a similar from ASOS a couple of years back and it's done the same, so I think that's just the nature of the knit. The jeans are incredibly comfortable and are my new go-to pair, especially as I get asked where they're from almost every time I've worn them! The dress is stunning, and whilst it's a little more "out there" than I'd normally wear, this is an amazing way to stand out from the crowd at a party. For New Years Eve, I'll definitely pair the dress with a faux bronze glow, and my favourite fake tan at the moment is still the St Moriz Mousse in Medium (just make sure you shave and moisturise the day before!).
I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to do this post and I'd just like to thank everyone at tobi.com for the wonderful opportunity to work with them. Furthermore, a HUGE shoutout to my photographer all the way from Australia, Michelle, for being the best! I truly will miss you next Semester... You can follow her on Instagram here: @_mishng.
