The Top Ten: Holiday Beauty Essentials

Already the 'Holiday blues' are setting in. I arrived back from Croatia last night, hence the radio silence on here (I just hadn't had the time to schedule - plus I'm not that organised!!). What better way to reminisce about one of the most relaxing weeks, by talking all things beauty, particularly my top 10 items that HAD to be featured in my holiday make up bag!

Lips
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned RoseWhilst I haven't worn this Christmas present as much as I should have, I knew this shade would look good with a bit of a sun-kissed base, and I wasn't wrong! This is such a great summer shade and who could deny their make up bag of the rose gold packaging?

Claris Instant Light Lip Perfector in 01 Rose Shimmer
I always comeback to this - and there's always a good reason for it! It's such a easy-to-wear formula and shade, plus it can be layered over a lip liner without looking too OTT (I often use Rimmel's Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob)!

Face
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer
I adore this to pieces - it's one of my most coveted make up items - so of course this comes with me basically everywhere! Even so, I love this for holidays purely because you can vary the colour of the product to match your skin tone, so as I tan, I don't look like I'm using an overly light concealer!

B. Glowing Shimmer Brick Blusher (can't find this online, so link to a similar product here!)
I recently rediscovered this and it's certainly ideal for holiday. It gives the perfect glow, without making you extremely sweaty, along with a gorgeous peach-pink flush to your cheeks. It also doubles up as a lovely pink-toned eyeshadow palette!

Eyes
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette
These colours scream 'holiday' to me - the gorgeous rich reds & coppers, muted browns and the purple shades make this palette extremely versatile. Plus it's super slim so is excellent for travelling! For a more in depth review and swatches, take a look at my post here...

Rosie for Autograph Eyeshadow Stick in Movie Star Crush
Cream products are a lot longer lasting on me when I'm in hot climates, so a cream eyeshadow stick is a must! I also bought my Bobbi Brown one, but this cheaper alternative pipped it to the post, purely because I'm loving this colour at the moment!

L'oreal Superliner Black Lacquer
I'm still on the hunt for my next liquid liner purchase - any suggestions are welcome - however this is still my go to for nailing a cat eye! It's super easy to use and lasts well... What more could you want?!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Apparently I am now able to get my hands on the waterproof formula of this, so naturally I'm going to pick that up the next time in a drugstore, however this is still one of my all time favourites. I can get fluttery lashes, that hold a curl even in the heat and just finish off any eye look perfectly!

Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium (Shade 3)I know, I know... This again. Whilst it gets a lot of hype, for me it's completely deserved and the new packaging, as well as shade, just makes it even more of a 'must have' in my eyes. Again I did a separate post about one of Benefit's bestsellers here, however it had to feature here purely because I loved using this for both day and night when I was away!

Have a great weekend - I'm off to V festival, which slightly makes up for the fact that I'm back in England!
