Party Season Wishlist

It's mid November... what better time to start planning and buying your outfits for the fast-approaching party season? That's at least what I thought when I gave myself the excuse to peruse the online shops for inspiration and so I thought I'd let you know how I got on and how much I wish I wasn't a student right now so could buy all of the pretty, glittery things!

Skirts and Tops
I've been wearing a lot of top/skirt combos to go out in at uni and so I thought I'd have a look at what was being offered ready for the Christmas season... let's just say a lot of embellishment and sparkle! I also think pairing a black skirt that has some added detail, like the scalloped edge of the ASOS skirt or the embossed effect of the leather skirt from Marks and Spencer with anything glittery will be the perfect smart/casual outfit for the season!
Dresses

I always find it relatively difficult to find dresses around this time of year (maybe that's just me!), but I don't think you can go wrong with a splash of red like this New Look dress - which also has the most gorgeous neck line - or a little more sequin action like this dress from Warehouse (it may be a bit pricey, but it's the loveliest sparkly dress I found!). My favourite, though, is this AX Paris number; it's right up my street with its metallic, colourful, patterned gorgeousness - plus it's a skater still dress that would flatter anyone, and would hide any food-babies that may appear!

Shoes

Shoes are always my favourite thing to browse and lust after online... I think I have an unhealthy obsession when it comes to that! My favourite, naturally, are the most expensive of the lot, but who could deny the prettiness of these amazing Ted Baker heels - if you're looking to be the talk of a party, I'd definitely consider getting your hands on these! If not I think the Missguided courts are a fab alternative, whilst the New Look flats still have the "Wow" factor thanks to the pom poms! I've actually seen the Dune shoes in the flesh, and the colour is even more stunning IRL, so these definitely had to be featured on here somewhere... why can't I have them all?!

Let me know what you like the most and/or where you're going to be looking for your party season outfits this year! Have a good rest of the week...
Becky xx
