Hello! I apologise for the tardiness of this post, but uni work (plus the end of freshers) has inevitably meant I've only just got round to typing this up... it's been a week since my 19th Birthday - you can see how I did with my 19 by 19 bucket list post here - and so I thought I'd show you what lovely presents I got from my friends and family. As always with these kinds of things that surface on the internet, I just want to clarify that I'm not in anyway trying to brag; I love reading/watching these myself and find they always give me great inspiration for my birthday/christmas lists!

My birthday itself was a little odd as it's the first one I've had away from home; however I ended up opening most of my cards and presents on FaceTime to my family - which was a strange but wonderful experience! From my parents I've actually got this Ted Baker purse as my beloved Fossil one died recently (RIP), although I haven't got that yet as it's only just arrived and they're coming to visit in a couple of weeks time; but as something to open they also sent me this gorgeous multipack of earrings from Accessorize. From my Brother I got these Sennheiser HD201 headphones which are brilliant at blocking out sound whilst are super comfy; I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for a budget pair of sound-cancelling headphones.
From my friends and family, as well as things such as vouchers (from places such as Outfit, Next and Superdrug) I also got plenty of beauty bits as well as jewellery; all of which I adore. As soon as Fleur from FleurdeForce announced she was releasing her own cosmetic line, I knew I'd want something - she has extremely similar taste to me and I think she is one of my favourite bloggers/vloggers around. When I saw the make up bag, I knew I'd found the perfect replacement for my tired Jack Wills one... so naturally it went straight on my list, along with the Tanya Burr nail polish in Fairy Godmother as it's so unique and I wanted to finally try her polish formulation!
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know I'm rather obsessed with Estella Bartlett jewellery; not only is extremely beautiful, but also perfect for gifts as it's such great value. I was lucky enough to be introduced to the brand through my old work, and so my boss (knowing how much I love EB) bought me a gorgeous "Lucky" gold four leafed clover necklace that I'm in love with. Furthermore I got a couple of jewellery pieces from Topshop - one featuring my birthstone, the other featuring a symbol to represent vitality, neither of which are online - and then a lovely headband from Urban Outfitters.
My cousin bought me a colouring book and some pens from Tiger - both of which I've discovered are a necessity, having seen how many of my friends benefited from colouring during revision in the summer! This book (similar here) is ideal as, whilst the patterns are still really interesting, they aren't anywhere near as elaborate as some of the other books you can find and therefore, I feel less bad about destroying them! From my new flat mates I was of course bought alcohol (natch) but two of the loveliest girls Cat and Heather bought me chocolate... which I have managed to resist eating until I took the photos for this post - be proud!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I got for my birthday and that this helped some of you gain inspiration! Have a lovely rest of the weekend...
Becky xx
