September Favourites 2015

It's October, which means three things... I'm going to uni in 2 DAYS (aghhhhh!) and it's also my birthday month, oh and we wave goodbye to another month of 2015; time really is flying! The latter means that I thought it was about time to share with you my favourite things from September as I haven't done a favourites post for a while (in fact, I haven't since June, which features some of my favourite photographs I've ever taken - sad I know!)

L-R: Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Stick, NYX Cosmetics Lip Liner, Milani Eyebrow Pencil, Tarte Blush

NYX Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Mauve
The perfect nude-brown-pink lip liner which looks brilliant under lipsticks (I love pairing it with MAC Twig) as well as on it's own. The staying power is insanely brilliant and is perfect for those people who aren't quite brave enough to go full on 90s Kylie Jenner with their lipstick colours!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12hr Blush in Captivating
This has been the perfect blush shade to complement my tan - the perfect mix of pink and peach to add colour, shape my face and just look super pretty! Whilst I wouldn't say it lasts 12 hours, my face doesn't 'eat it up' like some blushers and the slim compact is perfect to keep in my bag if I'm going out and need to reapply some make up in the day.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Stick Shadow in Goldstone
My obsession with cream eye shadow sticks (I love the Rimmel Shadow Pencils) became more heightened when I went to the Bobbi Brown counter in Bloomingdales and ended up purchasing this beauty... which I do not regret at all! This is the perfect olive-toned gold, that lasts for a very long time and miraculously doesn't crease on my eyes, unlike a lot of shadows; furthermore it makes for a great base or just an easy all-over colour which is ideal for days when I need to be out of the house in lightening speed!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara
I've rekindled my love for this beauty; the perfect product for fluttery, voluminous lashes... it's also a really long-lasting mascara (where does it go?!) so I don't have to worry about reapplying if I'm going day-to-night - ideal for a lazy so and so like myself!

Milani Easy Brow Mechanical Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe
Another rediscovery, this was found during my make up culling last week; I must have put it somewhere really safe when I went back to Brunette this time last year as the tone was too red-based for my brows... however now that I've gone lighter again, this is the perfect colour for me, plus the waxy formula means you don't have to worry about the strayers!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
This is the loveliest face wash, and I don't even know why I like it so much! It feels really cleansing, without being too harsh to dry out your skin and produces a rather satisfying foam (haha!)... it even works well with the Magnitone Lucid that I got in July (see my post here) and I've noticed fewer spots when I use this in comparison to when I don't!

Toni & Guy Glamour Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo
In a bid to find a less residue-leaving volumising hair product to replace my Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray, I picked up this Toni & Guy Dry Shampoo... Having heard so much hype about their products, it's safe to say I'm pleasantly surprised by how good this is! It adds the perfect amount of volume and texture without being white or chalky. A definite favourite!
Oh my word, I don't think I'll ever get bored of wearing these - they're comfy, super cute and they have Minnie Mouse on; what more could you want?! They may be a little pricey, but I have worn them non-stop throughout August and September! P.S. there is another Disney x Vans collaboration coming your way featuring 101 Dalmatians, Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book... yay!

Again they're killing it - their sale is literally has saved me a fortune over the past week! I know I should be more specific but see my AW Wishlist to see what sort of things I'm loving from them at the moment... They're certainly one of my favourite high street shops at the minute!

Paper Towns by John Green
Not as good as TFIOS (that will forever be a favourite of mine) but I thoroughly enjoyed this JG book, too; especially as you had to think a lot more to keep up and it did kind of give me the creeps - a lot more exciting! Whilst I'm a sucker for Chick-lit books, this is a completely different one that is worth a read!

Great advice, I love her hauls and she just seems genuinely lovely! Definitely check her our for a new YT channel if that's yo' thing...

This girl was the one I looked to for all of my US recommendations (she's from Canada, but hey!) back in June, however I haven't been able to stop binge watching her videos lately...
