The Best of the Bronze

Bronze tones are some of my favourites for the summer months; it looks amazing with a tan and I think you can get away with a much more obvious shimmer when the sun is out... It also looks great with colour (find out why I'm loving bold colours so much here) and can be paired with anything from nude to bright pink, orange and red lips which is brilliant!

It probably comes as no surprise that the majority of my bronze products are eye products and a couple I've mentioned before, I'm sure of it; still there's no harm reiterating my love for some things, especially when they're the things that I instantly grab for the perfect bronze look!

The Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Liner in Bronze is still one of my favourites; it's not only a supposed dupe for the MAC eyeliner in Teddy, but it's long wearing, pigmented and is incredibly versatile... All for the small price of £2.99!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eye Crayon in Bluffing is the perfect everyday bronze shimmer - it lasts well, too; although it does crease a little on my lids. Because of its longevity I sometimes use this as a base for other shadows, but I just love using this all over the lid and then a matte brown in the crease for an easy go-to bronze look!

Of course I had to mention my e.l.f cool bronzer compact; I've rambled on about this enough in the past (just search it in the box and you'll see!) but for me it's the perfect matte bronzer that can be used for contouring without being too orange or muddy toned. I've also started to love taking it on a fluffy brush and placing it across the tops of my cheeks, dusting it across my forehead, chin and down my neck! I've learnt that the trick is to apply it where you naturally tan on your face the most to not only balance everything out but to get a more natural 'sun-kissed' bronze!

Copper, Snakebite, YDK

The Urban Decay Eyeshadows really are worth the hype; they have such a lovely and creamy texture, they don't crease (which is normally the case for me!) and they blend so easily that they make smokey eyes fool-proof! 'Copper', 'Snakebite' and 'YDK' (all from the Naked 2 palette) are my favourite bronze
shades in the palette. Copper is, as the name suggests, a red-toned shimmery shade that is unlike anything else I own which is why I love it so much. Snakebite is a more gold-bronze and is amazing for the outer corner in particular; it's possibly one of my most used in the palette as it can be used as part of a smokey eye or just to give a day time look a bit more definition. YDK is again slightly different to the previous two - it's a little more pink toned so is a much more brown-bronze colour; I love using this over the lid as it's the perfect amount of shimmer and is such a wearable shade!

What's your favourite bronze-toned product? I'd love to hear your recommendations as I don't think a girl could ever have too many as it's just so wearable! Have a wonderful week...
Becky xx
