Glossybox April 2015 Unboxed

Having only ever tried a couple of Love Me Beauty subscription boxes (you may recall these reviews if you've been around for a while!), I wouldn't say I'm a beauty box expert. When I finally saw Rawnie for the first time in yonks(she blogs over at www.callywags.co.uk FYI), she raved about Glossybox and was rather convincing about signing up, so naturally I did - what can I say, I'm easily persuaded!

When I then got an email saying they had an introductory offer of 2 of their boxes for £22 (each box containing some amazing products) I finally decided to take the plunge and get them... And here I am about to do an 'unboxing' posts that I love reading for myself, with not one but two of their gorgeous boxes!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The boxes are gorgeous! Wrapped beautifully inside, decorated in a way that I will certainly keep the boxes for future storage use and the amount of product in them instantly got rid any guilt of splashing out even though I'm meant to be saving for the summer! Whilst the boxes arrived separately they were both delivered within a week of ordering and their twitter team were very quick to respond about my query - a very beneficial thing in my view - and so I certainly have no qualms about that!

ICONIC HOLLYWOOD BOX CONTENTS
As a massive fan of the Marilyn Monroe/Elizabeth Taylor era, this box was right up my street. Beautifully packaged with the theme of hollywood glam, I could tell I was going to love what was inside, too...
Pop Beauty Kajal Pen Eyeliner in Black
Nougat London Bath Pearls in Fig and Pink Cedar
Darphin Paris Beauty Revealing Cream
Color Club Nail Polish in Barely There
Lord&Berry Crayon Lipstick in Kiss - 20100

POP ART BOX CONTENTS
Bright colour clashes and a classic Warhol-inspired image on the front, this box was again extremely pleasing on the eye. Whilst I know it should be about whats on the inside, I certainly can't complain about the Glossybox packaging - they certainly know how to please a gal like me!
So Susan Mascara
Yves Rocher Perfume
Ciate Nail Polish in Unrestricted Glam
Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche de Beaute
Etre Belle Lip Lift Peel lip exfoliator

TOP 5 PRODUCTS THAT I'M EXCITED TO TRY
As there were so many products and I didn't want to do to do two separate posts, I thought I'd just do a small segment on the five products I'm most excited to try (who would want to read my rambles on any more than five, anyway!!)...

1. Lord & Berry Kiss - 20100 Crayon Lipstick
A high profile brand such as Lord&Berry is always great to receive in a box like this - what's more they're notorious for their lip products so I'm super excited to try this. Whilst I have a few red lipsticks in my collection, this one is the most orange-based one I've got and as it's matte will hopefully last a longer - perfect for the summer!

2. Yves Rocher Perfume in Quelques Notes d'Amour
This smells like such a classic - it reminds me a lot of Chanel or Dior. Yves Rocher have just started to pop up on my social media feeds via other bloggers so I'm excited to give this a whirl, especially as I've been looking for a new fragrance.

3. Ciate Paint Pot in "Unrestricted Glam"
Another well known brand to be featured, I know that the Ciate polishes are well loved among most people, friends and family included! This looks like the most perfect black shade - I just hope the formula lives up to the name, now...

4. Color Club Nail Polish in Barely There
Unlike the others, I've never heard of Color Club, however this shade looks seriously pretty! I'm on the hunt for the perfect nude nail varnish as we move into spring/summer and this looks great for when I'm a little more tanned - expect a follow up soon!

5. Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche de Beaute
Last, but definitely not least, I'm super duper excited for this one! I've heard so much about Nuxe but have never been able to justify the price tag, which is why I love these boxes as they let you try new products and brands in a much more affordable way!

What has taken your fancy among this huge selection of products? At £10 per month, I think I may be able to justify a bit more spending on beauty products again when another box takes my fancy... you can sign up for monthly or yearly plans over on their website here! Have a lovely week, and I hope you have had a great bank holiday weekend...
