Day to Night #OOTD

found this beautiful dress in the Topshop sale (well, to tell you the truth I'd found it in there at full price but I certainly wasn't going to pay £45 for it!!). I love it to pieces though and have worn it a fair few times even though I've only had it for a couple of weeks and I think a piece like this is easy to dress up or down, so I thought I'd show you how I'd do the transition, as well as a few general tips!

Dress - Topshop
Cardigan - New Look (old)
Sandals - F&F kids (old)
Sunglasses - ASOS
Necklace - Estella Bartlett
Earrings - handmade by my lovely friend Claudia!
Lips - Revlon Lip Butter in 'Juicy Papaya'

Dress - Topshop (obvs!)
Jacket - George at Asda
Pumps - M&S
Necklace - Estella Bartlett
Bracelet - Estella Bartlett
Earrings - Pandora
Lipstick - Kate Moss for Rimmel 107 (mentioned in my October Favourites post)

I often go for a bolder lip in the evening, and as mentioned in my last post I adore this red one from Rimmel so it's out with peachiness of 'juicy papaya' and in with the berry. I also change my eyeliner from nude to black, so I usually tone down my Jewellery so switching from my favourite earrings of the moment made for me by my wonderfully talented friend Claudia to my beautifully simple white daisies (also a birthday gift) from Pandora. A leather jacket screams evening for me and is often my layer of choice for when I'm going out, especially here in Spain as it does get rather chilly when the sun goes down! Of course heels make every outfit more dressy, but a smart flat like these from M&S are more my thing (plus I didn't bring any heels with me!) without making things look OTT... Definitely not my style!

I've been loving the sunshine and a lovely bit of R&R... Plus the scenery is so lovely so of course I had to do a post involving it! I hope you've enjoyed this post, happy Halloween and have a fab weekend!
Becky xx
