Sephora Haul

Uh oh... So you know that high end beauty wishlist post I made a couple of weeks ago? (click here to read it!) Well I may have gone and bought a couple of bits from it! A lovely friend of mine went to the US for 5 weeks (I know, I was jealous, too) and she kindly offered to get me some bits - in fact I think she almost made me get some things just so she could go into Sephora - and I finally got my hands on my goodies the other day!

First up is a definite 'hyped' about product: the Tarte Lights Camera Flashes mascara. Now on my wishlist I put the Lights Camera Lashes version (and to be honest, I don't know the difference), but when I saw Fleur de Force talk about this one more, I thought I'd give it a go! Not only is the mascara pretty decent, my Maybelline The Falsies has just run out so this was perfect timing, AND the packaging is divine... I didn't realise it was going to me imitation leather: a definite addition to the 'luxe' feel of the product.
I'm actually really impressed with this, especially as the wand is plastic; I can't comment on the longevity of the wear as I haven't worn it for a full day yet, but I will be sure to let you know!

When I had my make up done by a lovely lady at the Benefit counter in my local Debenhams a couple of months ago, the one product I really liked the look of was their Gimme Brow; I often don't do anything to my brows so this seemed a perfect, effortless way to make them look a little more defined whilst keeping them in place. That it does.

The application is so simple, and the brush is a great size: it's not too big and with my cack handedness that's definitely a bonus!

Finally was probably my most coveted item from my list: having posted it, the most feedback I got was about the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette, which was great as for me it was my number 1 lust worthy product... And I've finally got my hands on it! Getting it in America did make it slightly cheaper so I was even more happy when I got my mitts on it! Just look at it...

The shades are gorgeous and they feel divine to apply: the pigmentation is great, as well - what more could you want from a palette? The fact it gives it to you in looks, with a booklet to show you how to use the shades together, is rather inspired... But my favourite thing? The packaging. Slim, pink, floral, lace, metal. Amazing! (My only dislike are the names - take 'erotica' as an example, although at least that's the worst one!)

L-R heaven (didn't photograph well!), cashmere bunny, sexspresso, silk teddy, push up, erotica, nudie, honey pot, chocolate martini.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I got from Sephora; hopefully next time I'll be able to actually go in myself! Have a lovely weekend.

Becky xx
