Top 5 face products

Hello! I've just announced the winner of my MAC eyeshadow giveaway on twitter and facebook pages, it's so exciting!

Today I thought I would write about my top 5 face products and start a new "top 5" series. I have a varied mix, and most of them I've raved about before, but I love finding new bargains, so what better way to share the love than by offering advice about some pretty good, affordable products - I'm going to try and keep my thoughts short and sweet though!

First of all, I have to mention my first ever "proper" foundation I bought, and just can't find anything better! I love the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation so much because it's so light weight, yet brightens up the face with a good amount of coverage.

Next is the Collection 2000 concealer that everyone raves about (although more recently I've found more and more people don't really like it!). I agree with everyone when they say it's super coverage for the price; however I have two little negatives - it doesn't last well on my face (around 4 hours) and it does sometimes crease under my eyes. I always find it sits better when I wear a primer if I really want to cover my dark circles using it, too.

The Milani baked blush in Luminoso is honestly my favourite thing to wear on my cheeks: it's a blush and highlighter in one and is such a lovely colour. It's such a shame we can't get Milani here in the UK (I got this from America) but I think you can get it from Amazon here. This is perfect for summer and really has excellent staying power!

The last two are both from Benefit: the first being the blogger favourite that is the Hoola Bronzer. This is such a good bronzer that is ideal for contouring as it's matte. It's not too orange, yet it warms the face with a natural finish and the Benefit packaging is always on point (I know packaging isn't necessary crucial, but I always find it adds to the overall product!). Even though I have this in a set (which featured in my May Favourites), I seriously want the box because it's so cute - and a little more practical - and I'm really jealous of all the bloggers with their personalised ones!

Finally is the Benefit's Watt's Up highlighter. I always forget how much I like this until I try it again; it's a lovely consistency and has a gorgeous golden "glowy" sort of colour which comes across super natural on the skin as it's not at all glittery. I also really like using this mixed with a bit of a cheek tint (for example the soap and glory cheekmate or lollitint by Benefit) on the back of my hand and then applied to the cheeks with a paddle brush to give some colour to the cheeks. My only problem with this product is the fact the sponge applicator on the end has fallen out!

I have finally broken up for the summer today, so I'm super excited for a bit of chill time now! I hope you have a lovely weekend...

Becky xx
