February Favourites | Rediscovering products

I can't believe it's the end of another month already, how time flies! As the title suggests, this month was majorly about rediscovering products I've had for a LONG time and stopped using, and I'm not really sure why!

Beauty product's first: I have 4 for you...

Soap & Glory Cheekmate, £8 from Boots

This is a wondrous product, it is a cheek and lip stain, similar to the Benefit ones but for a fraction of the cost. It is a lovely red colour that gives lips and cheeks a lovely healthy looking tinge, but it is very buildable if you want more 'oomph'. I have loved mixing this with my Benefit Watt's Up highlighter (another rediscovery) on the back of my hand and applying to my cheeks for a glowing, flushed look that is perfect for this time of year!

Benefit Watt's Up highlighter, £24.50 from Debenhams

I got this as a Christmas present about 3 years ago, and I have recently discovered it again. As I said above, I have loved wearing this mixed with Cheekmate; however I have also liked to put on with just some contouring for a more natural, but still defined, look. I also experimented and think it looks pretty fab as an eyeshadow!

Vaseline Healthy Hand and Nail Conditioning Hand Lotion from Boots (though I'm pretty sure you can get it from Primark too for £2)

I used to get really bad dry hands during the winter to point of them bleeding and cracking everywhere; they looked awful, I can assure you. This year it seemed to be pretty bad too, so I scavenged through my draws and finally found this stuff, which is absolutely amazing. It's quickly absorbed, not oily or greasy and is hypo allergenic which is perfect as I have sensitive skin.

Soap and Glory Mist you Madly body spray, £6.50, Boots

This has such a lovely smell and lives in my school bag (though I'd completely forgotten about it!) not only is ideal to make you smell pretty but also it's a pretty decent air freshner and this has become the go to product if we're in a stuffy room that smells of BO (another con of school life!)

I reckon these products would be ideal to include in the boots 3 for 2 at the moment: I'm not entirely sure how I've managed to avoid it thus far!

My favourite fashion item this month is certainly this pair of Vans which I've had for around 2 years. Having worn my converse to an inch of their life, I rooted around my wardrobe for these and thankfully they weren't too dusty. Obviously they probably don't sell these any more, but I like the fact vans are always expanding and I'm currently loving their Beatles collection.

Finally, for something a bit different I have to admit my favourite trip this month was to Paris (including Disney!) with my school... We did do work, honest! I resisted the gorgeous (but expensive) Frozen merchandise, but couldn't pass the opportunity to buy sparkly Minnie Mouse ears!

As you can see I've liked quite a few things this month... Keep your eyes peeled for an American beauty haul later this week. Until then, have a fabulous week!
